What was the highlight of Java Lotus Hotel Jember
Best Value Hotel in Town
The hotel room was clean, and the bed was cozy. The Aircon worked well. Breakfast variety was good. If you crave for an instant noodle during your stay, the kitchen staff is happy to make you one. But your option is limited to Indofood Mie Goreng or Indofood Kaldu Ayam (Chicken Broth). I loved the "Klepon" or "Sweet Rice Cake Balls". They were freshly made from the kitchen. The coconut sugar really melt in my mouth. Please note that you must put the whole tiny ball in your mouth, don't bite it in half. You really don't want the sugar lava sprouted on your shirt.
The guest room was a bit small, but we had no issue with it as we spent most of the time outside. The coffee was a bit bland for two straight days of our stay. The breakfast restaurant was a bit warm, not enough cold flow there.

Very Good
Location was great. Closed to Alon-alon, tradisional market and easy to find meal outside of the hotel
Order bakso at roof top was taking too long, its almost 1 hour 15 minutes. Room: do not have note pad and pencil. Do not have hand towel nor face towel. Only bath towel however the color were dark and brown. Need to be replaced with the new one. Original color were white.
