What was the highlight of Java Lotus Hotel Jember
Best Value Hotel in Town
The hotel room was clean, and the bed was cozy. The Aircon worked well. Breakfast variety was good. If you crave for an instant noodle during your stay, the kitchen staff is happy to make you one. But your option is limited to Indofood Mie Goreng or Indofood Kaldu Ayam (Chicken Broth). I loved the "Klepon" or "Sweet Rice Cake Balls". They were freshly made from the kitchen. The coconut sugar really melt in my mouth. Please note that you must put the whole tiny ball in your mouth, don't bite it in half. You really don't want the sugar lava sprouted on your shirt.
The guest room was a bit small, but we had no issue with it as we spent most of the time outside. The coffee was a bit bland for two straight days of our stay. The breakfast restaurant was a bit warm, not enough cold flow there.

Good enough
The cleanliness is great. The view on rooftop is great. The room (almost) meet my expectation.
The lock has some problems. Not only in my room, but other rooms have the same problem. It often make a sound when opening the door and my key had ever not worked once. The shower head is kind of uncomfortable to use. It doesn't have hairdryer or mini fridge.

Since I came late night, restaurant was closed. In the Hotel should be open 24/7. Any time guest need food always ready. But it didn’t happen on this hotel.
